I'm sick of buyers getting to leave whatever feedback they want but sellers can only leave positive
Ebay is trash.
Does anybody know of any sites that get traffic that aren't whatnot?
Buyers get to treat sellers like trash and all the sellers can do is leave positive feedback or report the buyer which I guaran [Removed by Moderator] tee doesn't do anything but go into a folder no one even looks at.
Buyers have all the power yet eBay would be nothing without us sellers.

No other site has traffic like eBay.
You can't even write a vent without being vulgar.
You are putting way too much importance in yourself. It sometimes only takes one transaction with a dishonest, less-than-professional, rude seller to make a buyer leave and eBay doesn't like for buyers to leave. Sellers can always be replaced.

·4 months agoI don't post often as I still work full time, however this morning I did take the time to read your post & a few negative f/b responses left for you. To call a purchaser '**bleep**ed', a 'moron', a 'liar' at the very least says more about your mindset than the buyer. Sanctions should be considered in the future by the BOD against sellers such as yourself. Something to think about. Perhaps it's time for you to try something less stressful.

·4 months agoYour responses to the negative feedback you received make you look worse than the actual negative feedback. The responses are your opportunity to show your professionalism, but you elected instead to show yourself as a spiteful, angry person who is more interested in insulting others than fixing problems.

·4 months agoShort of blocking a buyer before they buy, there is nothing a seller can do as a result if buyer FB which is compliant with Ebay policy.
In the past, bad sellers almost always left negative FB for any buyer who was dissatisfied with a transaction. This made Ebay a site to be avoided. Ebay dealt with this by eliminating other than positive FB for buyers, and by making life worse for sellers, as well.
If you have a problem with having to behave in a civilized manner, even with an abusive buyer, you are not suited for retail sales. Ebay is a retail sales site.

You obviously were also not around back when sellers could leave negative feedback on buyers. This would sometimes lead to a buyer then deciding to destroy a seller, purchasing item after item (with multiple accounts), never paying for them and leaving negative after negative after negative to the point where no one would do business with them.
I had 2 accounts destroyed by revenge customers back in the 1990s (it was the same person on both of them, they just found the new one), and I didn't return to ebay for several years after that.
Last thing you want to do is leave negative feedback on a buyer, they can retaliate against you, you have no way to harm them.

·4 months agoYou obviously were not around in the old days either.
If a customer wanted to destroy you, they could. They could buy everything you listed, leave negative feedback on all of it. They could easily contact your other buyers and encourage them to do the same thing. All it took was one unhinged person who felt slighted about SOMETHING.
Imagine you have 20 auctions ending that night, all 20 of them get sniped by someone who immediately left negative feedback. Then it happens again the next day, and again. You make a new account, they find you again later, keep doing the same thing, using dozens of different accounts that built up enough feedback selling penny auctions to each other to bypass any bidder filters. You can't sell ANYTHING, but everything you list resulted in negative feedback.
That was the sort of thing that happened back when you could leave negative feedback for buyers.

In fact, I was! But, my iPad thinks it's now 2026 and it's never lied to me before 😎
Back then as is now, for me, feedback wasn't worth a hill of beans. I liked the idea that I had control over:
what I bought and sold,
how I wanted to ship it,
how I wanted payment,
how I could wait for an item to be received before I had to pay the seller, and vice versa,
how I had total control over my money, both outgoing and incoming,
how I enjoyed buying my own stamps and sticking them on packages,
how I didn't mind taking a minute or two to fill out a Customs Declaration form,
how it didn't cost an arm and a leg to mail something,
how I wasn't affected by AI,
etc.
But, today, it is what it is ...

·4 months agoYou need to learn to work with buyers if they have an issue. Don't be aggressive towards buyers. Find a way to fix the issue. Accusing buyers of lying isn't the way to go. What's disturbing is this is why buyers leave Ebay because they have a very bad experience with a seller like yourself and don't want to deal with it anymore. If Ebay is trash in your opinion then stop listing stuff here.

·4 months agoWOW! First, I do check feedback. Second, As a seller you could have the only item available, at half the price, and I wouldn't buy from you. And, yes you can refund any amount you want. If you haven't figured that out, it's on you.

·4 months agoThings are definitely out of whack. Far too many sellers on this platform. Not enough buyers. We need a cull. It would be great to see any seller with more than 100 feedback and less than 95% positive ratings removed from the platform.

·4 months agoWow, I have never seen feedback left for buyers and sellers like I just read. You actually gave a positive "F you" to a buyer? How has eBay not removed that, let alone all the other nasty things you have written.
I'm at a loss for words but sellers like you are why eBay does not allow sellers to rate buyers with a negative or neutral. That didn't seem to stop you from lashing out at people left and right. I'm not sure why you still have a selling account here?

·4 months agoEbay's feedback policies are an attempt to curb some of the raw aggression out there, such as we are seeing now. Therefore, they don't suck, at least as far as for that.

OP4 months agoI've been selling on ebay longer than you've been alive. All of these people were trying to get free stuff I can see it from a lightyear away.
Negative feedback is better than Negative feedback and I've lost my item to sell.
I respond exactly how these people deserve and hopefully it keeps people like you from buying from me.
I don't need your money. I don't want your money.

Your buyers' feedbacks are consistent in their opinions of your attitude and your replies to your feedback make you look even worse.
Remember that future buyers will see your feedback and the unprofessional, emotional and accusatory replies and are likely to hit the back button and find a better seller.
You need to cool off and think before responding to feedback.
And BTW, you violated ebay feedback policy in leaving those comments for your buyers. If you're reported, they'll be removed and you'll get dings for your wrongdoing.
