I sold something for the first time in a few years through my account and shipped it out 9/18. The buyer sent me a message on 9/21 and said he received it and thanked me. MyEbay says the payment is being held because they need to confirm delivery. I went into the "Sold" item portal for the item, and I realized that I didn't upload the USPS tracking number for the item. When I search and view the tracking number on Google today (9/27), it shows delivery happened on 9/21. I uploaded the tracking number to the item today on MyEbay, and even though the item was definitely delivered on 9/21, the Ebay tracking tracking estimated delivery 10/2?? And it doesn't even have "In Transit" marked, even though the item has definitely been delivered. Will this get updated? I don't want my payment forever suspended because Ebay's tracking won't update to match the USPS website tracking information. Assuming it does update, and registers it as delivered, will Ebay send a message to my buyer once that happens and ask him if he actually got the item, and if he says "yes," then will payment be released once that happens? Sorry for all the details, TIA for any help provided.
