I'm not requesting immediate payment. it's an auction?

I'm trying to list some items and the first listing is coming up with an issue I must fix. I am listing it as an auction, not a fixed price buy it now. It comes up with the red banner telling me to fix a problem. Immediate payment. I'm not listing as that. Any ideas? This hasn't happened before. Thanks.

·3 weeks ago@new_haven_toys Check Your Buyer Requirements in your Site Preferences and see how you have them set up. It may just be a simple issue.

·3 weeks ago@new_haven_toys It's not a glitch. You just did a Sell Similar from a previous auction where you had a Buy It Now price, but this time you didn't, yet the requirement to pay immediately for BIN is still 'checked' (on).
eBay could fix this by simply removing that that field any time the seller has no BIN price in that text box, but instead they expect you to un-check it yourself.
But at least that is very easy to do:

·3 weeks agoI am running into that too. Couldnt fix it so I went to an auction I already have up. pretending like I was revising it and then when I hit revised it then gives you the options of create a new listing. U use that then to do my next auction.

·3 weeks agoJust curious why you are listing your items at auction. I noticed that many of your sold auctions only got one bid. Auctions don't bring feeding frenzies like they used to years ago unless the item is unusual, hard to find, highly collectable or highly sought after. Nowadays buyers want immediate gratification, i.e. they want to buy the item right now and have it shipped promptly, not have to wait a week to see if they won the auction. And many times, after a week they have lost interest or found the item somewhere else.

OP3 weeks agoYes I do know that. I'm listing with a starting bid that reflects the current value and at the same time the starting bid, which is usually a selling price, will support and not hurt the same items in the collections out in the HO train community.

·3 weeks agoWhen this happened to me I had defaulted my listings to immediate payment. When I attempted to list an auction I got the same message. All I had to do was remove the checkmark on "requiring immediate payment".

OP3 weeks agoI had two listings that worked. Three so far won't. All of the listings are using the same format. Where do I find the checkmark that says "requiring immediate payment' ?

OP3 weeks agoI put the problem listing up and on another page I created a copy listing, side by side. That worked. The new copies listed and I deleted the bad copies.
