I'm going to keep drinking this poison until someone over there at eBay gets sick.
I have a draft of a post that I would love to have listed that I'm pretty I get the error that there's something wrong with my pictures. There is nothing wrong with my pictures I need a bigger I made him smaller and get two of them I get more of them it doesn't matter what I do it will only tell me that there's something wrong with my photos. So just sit here and keep drinking this poison it's got to get to somebody over there soon.

·6 months agoIt's a variation of an old saying attributed to various famous people of the past: "Hatred (or Resentment, or Holding a Grudge, etc.) is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die."
How it applies in this case, I'm not sure.

Reckon maybe the OP calls kettles black and watches pots to make them boil faster too?

·6 months agoFirst thing I would look at is the file size of the image(s) you are generating. You don't need an image file size of more than one Mb or so; eBay is just going to downsize larger files anyway, but if your camera is generating images that are far bigger than that, it may be that the upload is choking before eBay can even obtain the whole image. You should be able to adjust your settings to reduce the image file size.
Alternatively, is it possible that you are uploading thumbnail or preview images instead of the actual photo itself? That would be the opposite problem for eBay: the image isn't big enough to enlarge with clear detail.
What was the exact wording of the error message(s) you are getting?

I don't think it's the image size, try doing the same on another browser.

·6 months agoI use a Canon Powershot SX120 Is, it's relatively inexpensive point-and-click but it's very useful because it allows me to set resolution and size, plus it has macro ability meaning I can get really up close and personal.
I just can't get that out of a phone camera, also since it has an SDHC card I can transfer the pictures to my PC, another great listing tool, I wouldn't dream of shooting pictures and listing items with a phone.

·6 months agoIf you take a screenshot of the message you're receiving when you attempt to upload your pics and post it here someone may be able to help you figure out the issue.
Sitting there "drinking poison" will do nothing to solve the problem.
