I'm confused - ebay permits full frontal nudity ?
It can be difficult to keep up with the do's and don't on ebay but this one is very confusing...
I was searching the jewelry category and what returned in my search was the top 3rd of my screen filled with very naked women, they were all 'Sponsored' ebay content
I really don't want this type of content being splashed on my screen...I did click thru and report the content but seriously I had to click that offensive content in order to report it...yuk ! It appears that particular seller has lots of these images listed and sponsored and now this is popping up in my other ebay searches...thanks ebay and AI - make it STOP !!!

·1 year agoYou can open a lot of other random eBay listings to make the nekid pic listings go away from your feed sooner.

·1 year agoTo my knowledge I don't believe it is acceptable, The best you can do is what you did & report it, It definitely should not just pop up randomly like that in other categories, Unacceptable!

·1 year agoIt’s maddening to see blatant flouting of the policy regarding nudity, only to report the most egregious examples and have eBay do nothing.
One particularly offensive occurrence was this one seller who sold tools. For display in his gallery photo, he propped the smaller tools up on a woman’s bare ample bosom. Sold like gangbusters.

·1 year agoThis has been reported in two other threads, with the same thing - unsearched for adult material popping up randomly when opening eBay. It's pretty strange since that's a kind of gated section. Might want to check in on the tech board.

·1 year agoHonestly, the "Sponsored items based on your recent views" section seems to be on a real bender lately for some reason. Not sure what's up with that.

Funny part is having to add it to your feed in order to report.
I think reports are useless because the AI that's going to review the report doesn't review images I don't believe.
I reported a listing that was soliciting offsite sales via the pictures and the bot told me no policy violations.

·1 year agoEbay doesn't allow nudity unless it's in the adult section. All you can do is report the item like you did and move on.

·1 year agoThen why is the adult section showing up in my feed when I search for a Fujifilm 100-200mm Lens? Then once I click on it to report it - it's with me on my homepage forever. Unreal.

·1 year agoYes, but to report it you need to click on the listing which will just put MORE of what you do not want to see in your feeds. Ironic.. BUT ebay loves it for some reason.

·1 year agoOn April 28, 2025 I was on eBay and on the bottom of my screen I saw many naked women, even old women, with totally naked huge nipples and totally fully visible naked open hairy **bleep**. I do not know why? I immediately start report these 26 photos to eBay. After while they sent me automatic messages, that the photos shown on eBay was OK. Really? These photos of big breast with totally naked nipples with totally shown open hairy **bleep** are OK to eBay? I see that eBay is quickly changing it’s policy. But, I do NOT wish to see these pictures anymore with old prostitutes! I am strongly offended! It was disgusting!!! eBay, please STOP!!!
