If You Sell Sports Cards, or Anything Similar...What Type of Inventory Software Do You Use??

I have been wanting to create an inventory app for people that collect and/or sell sports cards. Even though I have a solid idea and breakdown of what it would include and how it would work and perform, I just don't have the funds to implement it.

For people that sell sports cards and mainly sports cards, what do you use for inventory control as far as your in/out of product, as well as being able to find the sold item quickly and efficiently? Preferably something that is free, or something that has as many options for the least amount of money; I don't want to have to use spreadsheets for inventory....that is just too much trouble and it would drive me insane.

For basic inventory lists i would say MS-DOS at a minimum (limited availability YMMV) or learn the ins/outs of using a spreadsheet. Other options would be a sales program that can keep inventory while tracking your sales for tax purposes. (Quickbooks, My Database or similar)
