If i block most of the world can they still see my listings ?
Say for example i block selling to Hawaii, Protectorates, Alaska, Canada, South America, Can only the 48 states see my listings ?

·1 year agoIf you block most of the world from seeing your Listings, You are really limiting your ability to sell your items. Does not make sense to me!

·1 year agoAnyone anywhere can see your listings, all they need is an internet connection. If eBay is able to detect their location (for shipping) and it's one of your blocked locations they can simply change their location to the US (lower 48 zip code).

OP1 year agoYou would think UPS or Fedex could run a few Cargo planes to Hawaii once a month at least. I sure do miss out on sales.

·1 year agoI'm on the East Coast, Hawaii is Zone 8 just like about a third of the lower 48.
The OP is in Los Vegas, it's is also Zone 8 to Hawaii (a little odd) but so are all of the very populous East Coast States (FL, NY, PA, etc).
There is the potential for slow deliveries but I'm sure residents of HI are accustomed to that.

·1 year agoZone 8 is 1801+ miles away from origin. Here in Los Angeles, east coast is about 2800 miles away and Hawaii is about 2600 miles away. So Hawaii is also zone 8 to me. I think Hawaii is zone 8 to every location in the US except Hawaii itself.

·1 year agoI'm quite sure both UPS and FedEx have cargo flights landing there every day. Of course the cost is going to be higher than USPS in almost all cases.

·1 year agoThe question in your title is the opposite of the question in your post. So I’m answering your post, not your title.
No. Generally speaking anyone who isn’t logged in (guest accounts) can see your listings no matter where in the world they are. They probably would be stopped when checking out.
I believe the buyers logged in and registered in the areas you block are able to see your listings too as their shipping address (gifts) can be in an area you do sell to. Someone can come in and correct me if I’m wrong here.

OP1 year agoCool thanks, I block Hawaii a lot just because USPS has Insane Shipping Prices. Someone tried to order a Fire hose from me during the fires and USPS wanted big money to ship it. More than the value of my hose 4X.

1. If you have "insane" prices for shipments to Hawaii - so do all the other shippers (including eBay sellers) have "insane prices" - can't figure out what you mean by that.
2. Shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands much further West from Atlanta, GA area at the same rates I shipped to California and other West Coast states and 45% of my total shipments of a total shipments of 1665 went to the western US states- shipped via a Priority mail services. Plus you ship from Los Vegas 1747 miles closer by plane. Go figure. I must have done something(s) wrong eh?.
