Identical Listings from Multiple Sellers in the Same Location
I'm curious about a situation happening in Hebron, Kentucky, where multiple vendors are listing the same bargain item at identical prices. What strategies could these vendors possibly employ to distinguish their listings or enhance their sales amidst such competition? Are there creative approaches other sellers have used in similar scenarios to stand out? I would love to hear your thoughts and any experiences you've had.

·2 weeks ago · EditedThis is basically allowed. IMO it shouldn't be but I'm sure there are good reasons they don't ban it.
eBay allows sellers to have multiple accounts & listings as long as:
Seller has enough inventory to cover all of their listings for sale, if they all sell out at once.
The listing offerings are slightly different (price, shipping offered, etc.).
There might be more that I am missing, but generally it's allowed and they can be following the rules.
I think both U.S. and foreign shops do this. It's to flood the listings and get more sales, IMO, for most that do it.

·2 weeks agoI asked AI, "Is there a large fulfillment center in Hebron KY?"
AI ANSWER:
Yes, Hebron, Kentucky is a major national logistics hub home to several massive fulfillment centers, most notably Amazon's multi-facility CVG network and Stord's 520,000-square-foot facility. Because Hebron is located directly adjacent to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and major interstate corridors, it is one of the densest shipping hubs in the United States.
Major Fulfillment Facilities in Hebron
📦 Amazon CVG Cluster: Includes massive nodes like Amazon CVG1, the Amazon CVG2 Returns Center, CVG5/CVG7, and the Amazon CVG9 Sortation Warehouse.
✈️ Amazon Air Hub (KCVG): A massive, $1.5 billion primary air cargo hub located on the airport grounds that coordinates rapid nationwide transit.🏬 Stord Facility: A 520,000-square-foot fulfillment center operated by Stord which serves as the largest high-volume hub in their retail network.
🚚 Verst Logistics: A large-scale high-volume picking, packing, and cross-docking center operated near the I-275 corridor by Verst Logistics.
🌐 OIA Global: An 80,000-square-foot direct-to-consumer node managed by OIA Global designed specifically for rapid 3-day East Coast shipping cycles.
Many online sellers sell on many platforms and use other services (like Amazon MCF or no-name services) to store and ship out their orders. Research "Multi-Channel Fulfillment" to learn more.

·2 weeks agoThose would be drop shippers that are all using the same company in KY. They are all probably actually located outside the US, signed up for the same "get rich drop shipping on eBay" courses and are certainly violating eBay policies. Be wary..

·2 weeks agoIn my opinion, probably drop shipping from Wal Mart, Amazon, Costco, Sams Club or a similar site.
