I'd like to edit what eBay messages I receive
I'd like to edit what eBay messages I receive. Most of what I get in my messages inbox (not my email) isn't anything I want (offer received, counteroffer sent, promotional stuff, etc). I've looked, but all I find is setting preferences for what messages are forwarded to my inbox. I've got that taken care of.

·5 months agoYou don't get to edit what messages you receive but you can simply delete without opening such messages.

·5 months agoAdd to that the messages from (usually) dropshippers telling me they've shipped the item and begging for feedback and all that jazz. Every item I order results in 4 emails, these however can be filtered, the additional messages sent by the sellers can not but I really don't want to read about sellers telling me that they're doing their jobs - Who cares, do your job and send me the item I paid for and stop announcing it as I'm not giving out participation medals.

I once bought an item and got 8 messages about it from the seller: "we received your order", "we are preparing your order for shipment", "the tracking number is ...", "we have shipped your order", "your order should arrive...", "your order has arrived", "if you are pleased with your order...", and another "please leave feedback". I was ready to scream. And I didn't leave any feedback.

OP5 months agoYes! Opt out would be great. I send and receive a lot of offers, and every one gets a message. Oh but why?
