I won an appeal I didn't file and over an issue I didn't know about. Go Me!
That's my item, but I never received any notification about an intellectual property rights violation. I also never filed an appeal.
I'm still on vacation and have auto responder messages engaged. I should have still been notified if a complaint was filed, right?

OP9 months agoThank you for all your responses. Definitely odd, but glad this was a nothingburger.
@meme6253 - Indeed.

·9 months agoHi @christworks - that's the message sent when the rights owner reverses their claim. If you never received notice of the violation and didn't see it on your Seller Hub page, then maybe the rights owner reversed it pretty much right away upon realizing an error which is why the appeal message is what landed for you.

·9 months agoI wonder if ebay does this every time someone reports you for a violation and the accusation gets thrown out by ebay.

·9 months agoThat reads like an automatic response where someone made a claim and it was dismissed without needing any input from you.

Despite what you'll see on this forum, it's not all doom and gloom, and sometimes ebay does have your back.
