I used my own shipping label, now what?

I recently sold something and the QR code I was given didnt work. Being the nice that I am, I purchased my own and notified the buyer with the new tracking # 6 days ago. He is crickets? the package delivered 4 days ago and he has not acknowledged my messages. How can I update the tracking to the new so that EBAY can confirm it delivered?

You still could have printed the eBay Label with the tracking number by PDF, and just tape it onto the package, rather than use the QR Code (since the purchased label itself is still good, from which you just ship it again). As stated below, you have to cancel the eBay Label, go to My eBay -> Orders -> Shipping Labels -> Find the Item -> Click the ^ icon next to Actions, a Drop Down menu appears and choose Cancel Label. Pick any option, I usually choose ""Transaction Cancelled". From there, the item that you sold should reappear under My eBay -> Orders -> Awaiting Shipment where a small link is under the Item Number directly under the title. Click that and enter the Tracking Number. You should do that right away, I mean within the first possible moment you are back, after the item is shipped in the possession of the carrier. Not 6 days.
