I should have know better - shipping to Nigeria

A few months back a buyer from Nigeria contacted me about samsung phone jig ( device that fixed samsung phones ) for his school in Nigeria but insisted that I used DHL ( which was not available through ebay ).

Something told me to cancel and refund as it was a $150 order, but I went ahead and told the buyer that I would ship itUSPS Priority Mail International which showed a 3 weeks delivery.

Basically the item is lost I guess.

Buyer opens an item not received, I provide tracking and ebay side with them automatically at 2 AM while I was asleep.

I wake up in the morning, appeal and ebay decides to uphold the outcome and refud the buyer the $150 + shipping he paid.

Did you contact DHL to put a trace on the package? I would talk with DHL, it could be on its way back to you for some reason.

For the future, I would suggest you use the EIS program. It takes almost all the risk away from the seller. It really is a very good program.

EIS is a great program. I encourage you to read about it and decide for yourself if it will work for you. It takes almost all the risk for international shipping off the sellers.
