I seriously feel like I'm being "targeted".
Now eBay is holding any funds on a started return this year, they were not doing this last year, and it's messed up my cash flow.
I've had 3 returns started in 3 weeks by buyers in different areas with relatively low feedback.
1 upright scammed me and returned a different item completely, I have a case pending with eBay.
Another did not respond at all during the return.
I just had another returned opened for a car part that "did not fit" despite the buyer's vehicle they selected (eBay leaves this automatically in notes) being an exact match for the part.
Both phone numbers for the buyer are mysteriously disconnected.
They shipped the return and aren't responding either.
I don't mean to sound paranoid, but I think someone got upset about a return and are now using their buddies to try and screw my account up.

·9 months agoI doubt you are being targeted, But rather just a streak of bad luck with returns & nothing as diabolical as you are assuming.

·9 months agoI highly doubt you are being targeted. Parts have a high return rate. As you are fully aware Ebay has a moneyback guarantee so if the part doesn't fit the buyer can return the item. It just happens. You will have buyers who purchase items and they can't use the item. They don't have to reply to you. Returns are part of the business.

·9 months agoHopefully it is pure coincidence. Getting ganged up on is a mess. I used to see that on the AMZ boards back in 2018-2019. They would go after sellers in packs.
