I put a watch up for sale many hours ago, and it doesn't appear in the search results
Hello. Something strange happened to me: I listed a watch yesterday, but it doesn't show up in search results—not even with the exact keywords. Why is that?

✓ From my own personal experience, it can take 24-36 hours after listing for your item to appear in search and on your profile.
This is a normal review and indexing period, and your items will appear in search after that process. (I know it is unpleasant to wait.)
Meanwhile, you can use the share feature to share your listing to social media and/or to collector's groups.

OP3 weeks agoIt is active, but there's only one visitor—me. The same thing happened to me the other day with this watch; it didn't show up in search results. I relisted it, but still nothing. The strange thing is, I listed several other watches and they all appeared within half an hour without any issues; it's only happening with this specific watch.

It probably shows at least 2 visitors now because I looked at it.
It's still indexing and as explained by @eastlaneave it can take hours to show up in a search.

Leave the listing up and it will be searchable soon.
Don't edit it unless necessary as that will delay the time it will be searchable.

OP3 weeks agoIt finally showed up in the search results, but it took two days—what happened was really strange; usually, they appear within half an hour.

Yes, I understand.
Sometimes something triggers a more extended review. It happens with new sellers, often. I don't know what caused it in your case, but it's all good now.
