I need to figure out how to get paid with new payment system.
I need to see how this rapid payment works immediately. Does anyone know what eBay has done now to make this stuff even more difficult. I used to have my fees taken out and I was paid quickly with no hassle .

·2 weeks agoWhen you saw the payment hold, did eBay clearly show you why the money was being held, the exact date it would become available, and whether there was anything you could do to release it sooner?

·3 weeks agoYou threw me when you said the "new payment system". It took me a moment as Managed Payments started in 2018 and in the summer of 2019 Ebay started onboarding all sellers that was completed by the end of 2020.
As @mamacassidy brought up, there are rules on this that likely apply to you, they have been around for many years.
When a seller is a Casual seller or been away from selling for about 90+ days, Ebay also may hold funds for a period of time until you have a bit of current experience under your belt. Usually no more than maybe 10 or so newer transactions.
An occasional seller
Sellers who haven't yet established a strong, consistent track record or who don't have any recent selling history will typically receive their funds 24 hours after delivery confirmation (for tracked items), or 31 days after the buyer pays (for items sent without tracking).
If you previously qualified to receive your funds faster as a new seller, you may experience this hold if you haven’t sold in a while. If you do, you’ll receive your funds 2 days after delivery confirmation or 14 days after the buyer pays.

·3 weeks agoSince you haven't sold anything in awhile, they can hold your funds for 30 days.

Because you are a new/ infrequent seller, ebay will most likely hold your money for 30 days to make sure there are no problems with the sale. You have 3 items listed right now, and they are all relatively expensive items, so ebay wants to make sure they are not on the hook for that money if the buyer initiates a return within the Money-Back Guarantee timeframe.
