I need help friends
Friends, since the 19th I made my first sale through this medium, yesterday the object sold arrived to its buyer and I have my account restricted and I cannot use the money, how can I do it? I received an email to send proof of my sales and I did it and nothing was answered and I don't know what to do.

·2 years agoYour account can't be restricted much since you are allowed to have an item listed.
The funds will likely be held for 30 days from the delivery date.
When they pull your listings is the time to be concerned.

OP2 years agoIf my other publication is available to the public, that is, if the watch was delivered on the 20th, that is, yesterday, should I wait an extra month? Well, this sale would take two months? Because I sent the watch on January 19, it arrived to the buyer on February 20 and do I have to wait another month?

·2 years agoI am not for sure with authentication involved. The bottom line is it could possibly be a 30 day hold from the delivery date to the buyer.

·2 years agoI forgot to ask, you did already setup your bank checking account and verification with eBay is complete, correct?
So you can get paid.
They want SS#, drivers license and at times, a bank statement. (Been there, done that)

·2 years agoGood....so if you 'get sick' or 'die' the funds will find their way to your checking account....
When you listed your item, you certainly saw that there was the possibility of a 'hold'...

·2 years agoYou are probably restricted because you didn't pay for the first item you purchased and maybe you will just have to wait until you are unrestricted in order to keep selling. Selling a $2000 item for you first sale doesn't help you either.

OP2 years agoIt will be waiting, I give up, the truth is I don't know what to do anymore, I don't understand what the problem is, selling a $2000 item for the first time, if I had that to sell and I knew what it cost, I posted it on eBay and everything was perfect, the buyer was happy. but I don't haha ​​it's ironic what if I have nothing more to sell? I have another publication of another watch but no one has offered me as much as for the first one.

·2 years agoThe problem is you're a new seller and you sold a $2000 item.
A couple years ago, they started holding funds for 30 days for items that sell for more then $1000.
If the buyer files for a refund, they want to make sure the money is there to refund if needed.
You can thank all the scamming sellers that sold expensive items, got the money and run.

OP2 years agoIn other words, someone who sells something of their collectibles or something cannot sell it out of necessity because they are dying, I sold the object out of necessity, I needed some money and well, all this has happened, if the money had really been because I am sick or something I die and the money goes to eBay

·2 years agoAs everyone has stated, this is standard ebay policy for NEW sellers... It's not some personal vendetta against you. It makes no difference WHY you sold the item.

·2 years agoThe money wouldnt go to Ebay, it will go to your states unclaimed funds dept. Ebay is no longer the place to make a quick sale and cash in.Too many scammers.

·2 years agoThere is always a hold on funds of a new seller.
We have all been there.
You just have to wait for the funds to be released.
There is nothing you can do.

·2 years agoNot only are payments held, accounts can be suspended when you have met or exceeded selling or listing limits which Ebay has placed on your account.
Usually, all gets resolved in 30 days.

Not paying for an order probably didn't help either.
It takes a little time for them to go over everything.

OP2 years agoYes, friend, I understand you, but look, my buyer received his package and is satisfied. It was also reviewed by eBay agents for delivery to the buyer and everything was perfect. What else can I do?

OP2 years agoWhat worries me is that I did not receive any email saying how many days or why my account is on hold. Let me clarify, is it because if the buyer already has his item and if he never removes the restriction I lose my money?

It is ebay policy (see above)
just be patient....you will get your money if nothing goes awry
sell a few more things, and you won't have this "hold"

So the funds are in your bank or are they in eBay's "available funds"?

A new seller who starts off selling expensive items right from the start will set off red flags every time. Did you provide a tracking number for eBay? Did eBay ask you as to where you sourced those watches or for receipts? If you can provide those requirements your account should be re instated.

Buyer has 30 days from the time they receive the item to file for a refund.
If the buyer just received the item, they'll hold the funds for awhile longer.
