I need ESE help (again). What am I doing wrong?

I changed several listings yesterday to ESE.
I actually had 2 sales on one of those listings after the change but when I go to print out the shipping label, it wont let me select ESE. It reverts back to GA.

When I set up the listing it let me choose ESE.
When I review the listing it looks like it's set up for ESE.
It's just not letting me print a ESE label.
What am I doing wrong?

·2 weeks agoeBay's program lets you ship for items up to $20, but I don't see why you can't set up an account with stamps.com, create your postage that way us Standard Flat envelopes (same postage rate), and then mark the items as shipped.
eBay seems to prefer you to ship through their system, but they also allow you to ship separately and mark as shipped.
A stamps.com account will cost you between $15 and $30 per month, depending o your volume, and you get the best possible postage rates for either USPS or UPS using their service.
That being said, I prefer using eBay's system when it allows me to do so because it automatically marks the item as shipped.

·2 weeks agoDon't know why it let you set it up, but it won't let you print a label if the one item is over $20, or the combined items are over $50.
Just make the patch $20 and then you can ship ESE (unless your margins are very tight and you can't do that, problem is using GA will probably be a deal breaker on account of how much shipping from Hawaii is).

·2 weeks agoThe shipping service drop down selection is based solely on the options chosen in the shipping section of the listing tool, it doesn't look at any other section of your listing (hence media mail in non qualifying categories).
I see you fixed it and added shipping. I was going to suggest that. The shipping doesn't affect it's eligibility, but you only get $20 back if you need the insurance. eBay really needs to let a single item be covered to $50 as well, with how much GA is for 1 oz.

I had some McDonald's Happy Meal books (category Toys/Fast Food) that I listed as Media Mail (because they were books) but when it sold and I went to print the label, there wasn't an option for MM. Lesson learned. So I agree with you-why do they let you list with an unavailable shipping option.
