I listed a 1983 Great Shape Barbie with detailed descrip & AI bot replaced it without asking

This AI stuff is just getting out of control. I went to all the trouble to list a Great Shape Barbie, mentioning box condition, any flaws, how she was inspiration for Toy Story character and the ebay AI bot just tossed my whole description in the trash and replaced it with its generic description as follows:

It didn't even warm me that it was doing this and I only found out about it AFTER I had posted the listing and then checked it.. Ebay's flowery description is meaningless and they had no right to toss out my description and replace it with their own.

·1 week ago · EditedThis happened to me recently and even though I didn't THINK I had hit that AI description prompt, I must have, but luckily I could see an option to switch it back to what I had written myself. -See if you can find that. Well unless it's an auction with bids, or a BIN with current offers, then you can't change diddly squat. 😣

OP1 week agoNo I absolutely did not click on the AI description. I am not a newbie. I was told by someone else that the AI bot is inserting stock photos that can't be removed. I wasn't sure if I believed them, now I do

Whatever you were told is incorrect.
AI bots are not inserting photos or changing texts on their own.
