I keep getting seller offers for items I merely looked at but didnt watch? | Selling

so sometimes when I list car parts, I will do an ebay search to see prices and gather info before listing them. especially if I'm not very familiar with them. What has been happening the past couple of months though is that, sometimes immediately, sometimes overnight, sometimes a couple days later...I will suddenly get a seller offer for something I actually viewed vs just list scrolling. Yet I did not put this particular item in any of my watch lists. Is this something new? Is there a way to stop this from happening? its just really weird to me.
