"In 2 Carts", that makes me laugh. I had people put the item in the cart and it sat there for months without any purchase. I wish eBay would automatically remove the "In Cart" after 3 weeks. If the buyer wants to complete the transaction, you would think it would not take more than 3 weeks to finally purchase the item(s).
All your watchers will get a notification that the DOW is over 50k and that they should be more concerned about the stock market than any price increases on ebay. Or something like that.
Many moons ago I would sometimes raise the price of an item after realizing the price I started at was a little too low. Funny thing is the item would sell within a day or two.

I have South Korea coin sets in my store that are priced pretty high. Yes, I can sell them if they are cheaper, but I could only bring home so many in my luggage (coins are heavy and the weight adds up when you only have one bag), since I sometimes have only one, I'm cool with sitting and waiting.
Not being able to get more is a good reason to increase the price.

On the funny side : The 'apron/chaps weed whacking' you are selling has 45 watchers and it's in 6 carts...and kinda wonder if the watchers are actually just watching the guy in the photo for....
To my knowledge, if you lower a price, ebay will (sometimes) send a notice...I'm not sure what the criteria are for that. I do not believe any sort of notice is sent if you increase a price. Of course, if a buyer is seriously interested in the item, they might notice the increase when they look at their watch list or their cart, but others probably won't remember the original price and so won't recognize it as a price increase.
Still, there is obviously interest , so there's a fair chance it will sell soon, whether you had increased the price or not.

@chapeau-noir I have not seen gains like I am seeing now on my IRAs over the last year in since I cannot remember. Crazy. Are old folks cashing out now?
And yes, @hartungcards, I will be seeing that soon enough here in east Texas without even looking for it. $2.09 was my cheapest buy recently though it was up to $2.19 last fillup. By the time April/May hits, gasoline locally here will be below $2.00, without searching and I will be saving quite a bit as compared to, right at $2.70 in January. 2025. This is making a big difference for the hard working folks commuting to work 5-6 days a week, every week, making ends meet. When you get a 25% cut on your $5,000 yearly spend on gasoline, it makes a difference.
As for those living in states with outrageous state taxes on gasoline...............

It's not just California tax; it's also city and county taxes.
Some cities in California are up to 11.25% total in city/county sales tax.
