I just noticed that on Aug 10 & 11 there were NO PROMOTED listings traffic at all.
I was wondering why things got so slow the last couple days and I just noticed that on Aug 10 & 11 there were NO PROMOTED listings traffic at all. Anyone else see this? Wish there was a way eBay could work on the site and not mess up sellers every time they do. EBay changes something and I can't get sales for days. I am afraid to turn off promotions altogether because the last time I did that I got no sales period.

·1 year agoSame here, graph bars for 10th and 11th not correct. I noticed it this morning(I check these graphs every morning to make sure the mice in the wheel were awake during sleep time) and didnt call or research anymore about it. Ran across this article while reading about the new app features and wha-LA!

·1 year agoNot sure if it's related but thought it worth mentioning since the timing fits - eBay announced a new Advertising section in the app for PL General at Open this week and there are some pretty obvious problems with the data.

·1 year agoWhy would ebay changing anything behind the scenes cause customers to buy or not buy? They are browsing and spending their money as usual and really don't care what ebay is doing behind the scenes. There have never been widespread reports of customers unable to find items to spend their money on.
I have the exact same anamoly on every single one of my accounts. No promoted traffic those days. However I sold items with promoted listings on those days and saw plenty of promoted listings on those days, so this is really just a data reporting problem.

·1 year agoI noticed this but for me it was just the impressions. My actual views: 69% were organic & offsite, while 31% were promoted. Sales: 52% organic & offsite and 48% promoted. Sales were consistent with the previous past 30 days. I noticed that since I re did most of my initial photos to make them more compliant w/ google , my sales increased 34% in the last 2 days. Maybe a fluke, but usually Aug. is pretty slow, so a nice bump.

·1 year agoI noticed that today too. However, before today, I had promoted listings showing both days. So I am guessing its a display glitch, or maybe promo data for those 2 days is messed up or not available.

·1 year agoI tried turning off promotions as well, & that did not work out well at all, I also notice the same thing that you described when ebay works on the site things can go haywire.
