·2 years agoI see all of your listings, I'm at a loss for why they can't see them?

·2 years agoAlso, your goldtone lapel pin is called a stick pin and your elephant can opener is actually a bottle opener.
This might help buyers looking for these items find them a little easier.
You have lovely items.

·2 years agoI believe your "charming handpainted sculpture of a young woman" is made by Bernd Ruckert www.berndrueckert.de
His website is in German, but I used a translator. These "dolls" (what he calls them) are shown under "wooden objects". Also, your description says yours is marked "RU 14" but I think that should be RU 74.

A "brooch" is a pin you'd put on a dress. A "broach" is a break or failure of something like broaching a castle wall.
You have 82 keystrokes for titles- since this is a common error, use both in your title.
And ALL CAPS is hard to read. Mix capital and small letters as you would in a sentence. (BuT nOt LiKe ThIs. )

OP2 years agoThank you bringing the misspelling to my attention. I had forgotten that a pin is not a "broach" but a "brooch". it is not a word we use much anymore! I "broach" the subject all the time. I will consider your point on all Caps. I chose that to draw attention to my careful descriptions of my pieces. I will mix it up the next time. Thanks.

You have some beautiful, valuable items listed.
As a new seller, maybe it would be best to establish yourself by selling some lower priced items before listing the expensive items.
I say that because I see comments here to the effect that new sellers are ripe for scams on expensive listings.
I hope someone with more knowledge on the subject will chime in.

OP2 years agoThank you so much for responding to my request for help with my sellers account at Ebay. I am frankly angry at how unresponsive Ebay is to my problems and questions I have as a seller.
I am not a beginner with selling on ebay by any means. I began selling on ebay in 2019, but I think it was actually before that. I also sold my pieces in antique centers in CT and NY as Happy Endings Antiques
You must have noticed that among my listings are lower price items such as the ebony bangle, the goldtone stickpin and the silk Indian bracelet. Thank you for commenting on my other listings which are higher priced for good reason. If you have any suggestions based on your experience, I would appreciate hearing from you.

My statement about you being a new seller was based on your FB number (3) on the account with these listings.
From what I've read here, dishonest buyers see a low FB score and think the seller is inexperienced and ripe for a scam.
I don't have first-hand experience with that, fortunately. Just giving a heads-up, as I hate to see honest sellers get screwed.
