·2 years agoI will add my two cents worth.
I have sold close to 50 LP's so far. Mine have always from the day I bought them, kept them in a cool dry place, sitting on the edge just like the record stores stocked them. I never exposed them to sunlight.
When I shipped them, I used a box designed for LP's, and I wrapped them in a little bubble wrap to help protect them.
Never had a single complaint from any buyer.
Best of luck in the future with your selling.

If you meet unluck you must experience this situation

·2 years agoIt doesn't make any difference, in reality, what caused the vinyl to warp.
Your buyer received an item that is not as described, regardless of where the fault may lie.
If/when he opens an item not as described, you're required to send him postage to return it and to refund in full when it arrives. Or you can simply just refund what he paid and not require a return.
ALL sellers need to make themselves acquainted with the Money Back Guarantee for buyers.

You said it yourself:
" I feel so wierd cuz that is warped like wave in one edge
I know that shape a few month ago, I try to eliminate vinyl's bad smell so I expose to summer sunshine
vinyl change to soft and then I move to it in shadow It change warped like wave soon"
That warp that was originally caused by your exposing the vinyl to "summer sunshine" caused a softer, weakened edge to that portion of the LP -- a "warp-in-waiting," just champing at the bit for another dose of extreme heat to reveal the warp once again.
Don't expose vinyl to direct sunshine -- I've ruined one to many LPs in that manner!

OP2 years agoyes I mean that is other LP not this item
I just explain my warped vinyl experience before I never do that again
Thanks

·2 years agoEBAY Money Back Guarantee allows customers to lie and claim damage (customers do not have to prove their claim). EBAY always rules in favor of the customer. If you refuse to give customer a refund...EBAY will just take money from you and give to the customer.
Even if you had proof that customer is lying...it doesn't matter...EBAY will always rule in favor of the customer.

·2 years agoWhy are people here so quick to accuse buyers of lying/scamming especially when it's a defect that can easily happen in transit or even while in the sellers possession if has been stored improperly for as little as a few weeks.
Vinyl LP's are funny things, some can survive intact and be perfectly flat even if abused for years while others can get warped in just a few hours under some conditions.

OP2 years agoYes you are right but I have warped Lp space in my furniture and I did cleaning, check it on the flat floor with light and then upload listing so I wonder how that happened and where? shippping? buyer?
I'm sure that is don't connect to me and my location
I can't imagine that so I will ask heating situation in shipping process to korea post

·2 years agoIf your plan is to ask the shipper whether or not your package will be exposed to extreme heat, then (a) it's unlikely that you'll receive a reply because (b) your shipper has no way of knowing that information.

·2 years agoIt does not matter, but probably in shipping.
I would refund and move on.
It's only 0.5% of your vinyl sales.

OP2 years agoThank you for your answer!

OP2 years agoThank you for your answer! I think you are right I don't know what is true but If customer using that for bad purpose seller is nothing I send message to buyer about damage report to post office for my reward shipping pay but I'm not sure he will apply that or not
I think ebay should consider to this case I get so stress they always buyer's favor and refund anytime even buyer's fault
I experience other case recently ebay did refund to buyer by ebay's money not seller's money even that was 1000% buyer's fault

·2 years agoA long international shipment may be exposed to heat or cold or other conditions which can adversely affect vinyl. The package could have sat in a container on a dock or tarmac, in the hot sun and the disk could have warped. A proper record box and spacers might have protected the record some, but if it sat long enough and it was hot enough, warpage is what you get.

OP2 years agoThank you for your answer! I will ask shipping process about that heating situation to korea post
