I am looking to find someone to sell an item for me
I live in Wilmington Delaware and have a piece of jewelry I would like to sell on eBay. Is anyone interested? I’ve seen similar items selling for
$ 50-250. Maker is Jewelry 10 by Cynthia Chuang

·1 year agoYou will need to look local. These boards cover the whole US and sometimes the world so someone from your area seeing this is a huge maybe. There is too much involved for someone to sell just one piece, which include any income taxes from the sale, actual eBay fees etc. If sold by a consignment shop expect to pay some hefty fees to that shop along with eBay fees. Then if the sale goes bad, the seller would need to refund the customer which is a 30 day window after the buyer gets it and if the buyer paid with credit card 180 (depending on the card some more some less) days later the buyer could open a credit card charge back which not only would the seller be out the full amount they would get charged $20's in extra fees and the buyer gets to keep the item.

OP1 year agoThis would be my first item and don’t plan on doing anymore. I expect to pay to have it listed.

·1 year agoThen I would just advertise locally because there is fees associated with selling an item on eBay, plus most sellers would want a fee for selling the item for you, plus they would not want to pay you until there is no chance of cases or charge backs being opened so I guess if you are okay with waiting 6 months for your payment.

·1 year agoIn addition to the final value fee on a successful sale, anyone who lists and sells for you will want to make a profit since he's taking the risk. And he would hold your payment for 6 months because that's how long an unhappy buyer has to open a case with his credit card.
