I accidently sold on a pickup only type ad
I have an ad, and the guy wasn't sure if it was what he needed. He asked to pick it up, and one thing led to another quickly. We solved his problem, and he paid me. This wasn't intentional or a scam of any type, and it wasn't more than $10 altogether, including fees. I would like to give eBay their cut of the transaction. 2 GPU Cable PCI Express Pcie Splitter 8 PIN Female to Dual 8 (6+2) Pin Male | eBay

·2 years agoI am sorry but I don't see the "accident," selling outside of ebay by sharing your address before the transaction was completed is against policy so there's no "one thing led to another," the violation occurred when you shared with your buyer your physical location.
Offering to buy or sell outside of eBay is not allowed. Buyers and sellers also can't share contact information, including email addresses and phone numbers, prior to completing a transaction on eBay.
Contacting another eBay member to discuss moving a purchase off eBay exposes both the buyer and seller to the risk of fraud. It also means both buyer and seller are not covered by our protection programs.
What is the policy?
Buyers and sellers can't:
Buyers and sellers should:
Activity on eBay is required to follow this policy, the eBay User Agreement and all applicable laws, as well as respect the rights of third parties. If it doesn’t, eBay may take action consistent with applicable laws and the eBay User Agreement, and may even be legally required to do so. Such actions may include, as an example only: Removing the listing or other content, issuing a warning, restricting activity or account suspension.

·2 years agoRevise your listing and add the option for Local Pickup.
Have your buyer purchase one unit and selecting Local Pickup. No money should change hands.
Go to your Items Awaiting Shipment Screen https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:AWAITING_SHIPMENT
Click on the downward pointing arrow and select Mark As Paid
That will trigger the eBay software to charge you their Final Value Fees. You can view the sold item showing a lower dollar amount for fees paid in your Managed Payments screen https://www.ebay.com/sh/acc
