Hi. I sent myself an offer without intending to do so. Now I can’t make revisions to the listing. How do I retract this unintentional offer to myself?

·3 years agoI would delete the listing now and create a new listing. I know many are amused and having fun, but this could lead to a permanent ban. You can't bid on your own items and I am pretty sending yourself an offer is jut as bad.

·3 years agoSending offers is a several step process so I'm not sure how you did it unintentionally, however all you need to do is go to the selling account, find the offer and hit DECLINE. Problem solved @kagaetjens.
Edit: Actually, I think it's REJECT, not decline. Not sure of the exact wording, but I'm sure you get what I'm saying.

·3 years agoI suspect that like many of us the OP has more than one account, but I must say................ although I may look at my item from one account, I don't add my items from one account on to the watch list of my other account.
My ID here may imply that I buy/sell on the same account, but I do not. That's a fool's errand.

·3 years agoYou do not have to accept offers, so let it just expire. It should time off in 48 hours and make your revisions after that. If it is the motorcycle parts, it still is live at $70 or make offer. Make offer does not take it off the platform when offer is made. Looks like it ends tomorrow the 29, so make your revisions when and if you relist it. There is a time limit before it ends that revisions can be made anyway; it may be too late.

·3 years agoThere's no time limit on when revisions can be made before a Buy it Now item ends. You can make revisions to a BIN item 3 seconds before it ends if you want to.

·3 years ago@hartungcards That is correct HOWEVER if there is a pending offer on the item, then one can NOT revise the listing during the time the offer is active. Been this way for quite awhile. So, OP can Decline the offer or End & relist the item, but if he had sent it to a potential buyer & then they did nothing, he would NOT be able to update the listing for 2 days. I run into it all the time & frustrates me to no end!
