I accidentally denied a buyer's cancelation request, and now I have no option to do so.
I was printing the shipping label as the user sent in a cancelation request, it sent me the notification but when I went to it, acted like nothing had happened, so I figured it was a glitch. I then get a message from the buyer asking me to please cancel it, and I check and it says I denied cancelation. When I try to cancel now, it says there is already a cancelation request. What can I do? If I hit "Send refund," it shows the full amount even though I was only paid half of the price because of fees.

·1 year agoThe cancellation request may have been auto-declined when you generated the shipping label. You cannot cancel the order at this stage.
You have 2 options:
1. Tell the buyer to file a return request and let them know you'll refund without them having to physically return anything.
2. Use the 'send refund' option and refund the buyer in full.
In both situations your fees will be credited.
You'll also need to cancel that shipping label. To void a shipping label purchased through eBay, go to this page, find the order and select Cancel from the Actions drop-down. The cancel option is available for 28 days.
It takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a refund on an unused, voided label as the carrier wants to make sure the label isn't used. You'll see the refund on your original source of payment (eBay funds, bank, credit card, etc) and the funds will appear in your account without an email notification.
