How to ship an item to a buyer

I received an email that a buyer completed purchase for my item. This information does not show in the orders tab. Nothing shows in the print labels tab. I just need information on where to ship.

This is the only place to check and find out if you made a sale or not.

·2 weeks ago@rdot1989 I hope you come back to read our posts. My friend, you are ripe for picking by scammers. You need to sell that as local pick up only if you are going to list it on eBay. Given you are a new seller and will already have some restrictions on you as a new seller so far as payouts, I would not start with a $900 electronic item. You need to rethink your approach to this.

·3 weeks agoI agree with everyone here. This looks and feels like a scam. Wait a day and see if it shows up anywhere in eBay. If not, then it's a scam. If it does, check the address on google as well as eBay to get a feel for where you're shipping to. I've had the occasional order for an item shipping to a Jail or Prison. Better to be cautious and wait for the next sale than ship it without eBay verification and lose the product plus the shipping cost.

·3 weeks agoIf it is a genuine sale dont accept any request by ebay message or direct email to change the delivery address, the address ebay gives you on the order is the address you ship to.

·2 weeks agoWhen I get a different address, I will attempt to verify with either a phone call, google search lookup or message back to the buyer. If I get no response, then the request was probably bogus, the sale was probably also bogus, and I'll cancel the sale due to change of address problems.

·2 weeks agoEbay CS told me that Im no longer covered if I send to an address other than what’s shown on the order, messages dont count any more.
Address problem is a very useful feature.

·2 weeks agoUsually you don't need to cancel the order, since the request to change the address usually comes from an unrelated account and they're trying to get you to divert a package someone else has ordered.

·3 weeks agoScammers like to send emails like this to new sellers. They then follow up with a fake email saying the item was paid for.
Any transactions (sales and payments) for sold items appear in your eBay seller hub. If it is not showing there that you sold an item and it is okay to ship, don't do it.

·3 weeks agoThis sounds like a scam. If there is no notification inside of ebay, ignore the email. This scam has been around for ages and they love to target new sellers with higher dollar items.

·3 weeks agoYou have one $900 item for sale and no items showing as Sold so it looks like you just have a scam email and no actual sale.
Unfortunately you as a new seller are going to be a magnet for scammers. You might want to consider selling that item locally for cash.

·3 weeks agoWait a while and then clear your browser history, then log back into ebay NOT from any link in an email you got and see if the order is there, if its not it may be a scam.
