How to "Send Offers" & Refresh Listings without Making Buyers Angry!
Summary: pls-consignments initiated a discussion about the best practices for sending offers and refreshing listings without causing irritation among buyers. However, both the initial post and the response from authentic*vintage are marked as 'None', indicating that the specific content of their contributions is not available for summarization. The subject suggests a focus on maintaining positive buyer relations while managing sales strategies.
SIOs (Seller Initiated Offers) currently make up approx. 21% of my sales. This can be considerable when looking for ways to boost your sales, especially if you do it daily.
However, if you also use End/Sell Similar on a regular basis to refresh listings, you may want to add a note to yourself with the date you made the offer. This will prevent buyers from getting frustrated when you end a listing before the 96-hr expiration ends, which can tick off buyers who already have your items in their carts. To do this, do the following:
1. First click on the "Send Offer - Eligible" button.
2. Check the box of the items you wish to send an offer, (you can do all of them at once if you wish).
3. Click on the "Actions" button, and select from the drop-down box "Add/Edit Note".
4. Enter the date of the offer and hit "Save".
5. Click on the "Sell it Faster" button and select "Send Offers" from the drop-down box.
6. Select the % or $ of the discount, leave a custom message (optional) and click the blue "Save" button.
NOTE: Before a seller initiates an offer, the buyer must have your item in his cart for at least 2-days, and has 96-hrs to accept your offer. Therefore, you should wait 4-days from the date of your note before refreshing your listing with E/SS.
Hope this helps those who have not used this option.

·4 months agoThank you for reminding me that this existed. I used to use the seller note option quite often to remind myself of something and I just realized that I can use that to help me locate my inventory or to leave myself a note for something that I need to remember about a particular item.
I'm on my phone right now but I'm going to try this in the morning and see if it still works the way that I remember.
