How to Remove Coupons from Listings
A coupon apparently attached itself onto a listing I had for a pair of shoes. I ended the listing and then relisted it, only to find that the same coupon was now on a purse I was selling, when it wasn't before. I can see that this was a problem a few years ago, but that thread ended. For a quick fix, I just revised the listing so that the selling price would be the same as it was before the coupon stuck on. Curiously, when I did an search at ebay on how to remove a coupon, it gave me instructions for removing the listing and not for removing the coupon. But, removing the listing and then relisting did get rid of THAT coupon, but then another appeared on a different item. I don't want to check this stuff hourly or even daily to see what's going on! Anyone else having this problem?

·4 months agoI had googled my item once and pulled up an ad using my listing with a coupon on a non eBay site. I changed my password and the ad disappeared.

·4 months agoThe problem is that you misunderstand the coupons. These are coupons that eBay offers to buyers at eBay's expense, and eBay pays you the full amount.
I am not aware of any way to prevent eBay from encouraging buyers to purchase your items in this way.

Ebay takes care of the discount and you get your full asking price.

So it can only help you sell.
Why remove it?
