What are some ways to increase sales on the weekends? Recently my weekend sales have been getting slower. What are some ways I can boost sales and engagement on The Weeknd to get buyers to buy more?

·1 week agoI don't do anything special to increase sales. But personally, I usually have some good sales on weekends. I guess it all depends on what a seller sells and if the right person comes along to buy what you have listed.
I briefly looked at what you have for sale and it looks like a lot of DVDs, books, that sort of thing. I would think those would sell better when the weather gets a little colder and people want to stay in by the fire. Right now, at least in my part of the country, we are finally getting a break from the last couple of months blistering hot weather; yesterday was gorgeous and people were out enjoying it instead of staying home shopping on their computers.

·1 week agoThis time of year everyone is watching college and NFL football on the weekends. Hard to compete against that.

·1 week agoIs it okay to say the ladies might not be watching the football as much?
First football weekend this year I had good sales (at my other site) and I thought:
Yes! Football weekends and the wives are shopping :-)

·1 week agoThere is no way that I know of to increase sales "on the weekend".
There IS a way to increase sales across the board all week:
Sell better stuff, stuff that people want to buy.

·1 week agoDestroy all barbecue grills, camping gear, craft and DIY supplies, movie theaters, and all the other stuff people would rather do on the weekends. Online shopping is something people do when they have small pockets of free time, like lunch hours or evenings between supper and bedtime. The weekends are when they have enough time to really sink their teeth into something fun or important.
I hope you don't think I'm being flippant, just saying on the weekends it's not other sellers you're competing with, so much as other uses of buyers' time.
