How to describe a mens jacket?
I believe the sleeve of a jacket I sourced was modified or shortened because it's 24" long.
How should I describe it in the listing?

Just asking for trouble IMO

·Sep 9, 2026 at 8:36 PMWhen I think something has been altered from a standard size, I usually write it out in a text box in the photo with the ruler as well as write it in the item description. I say something like:
"The sleeve length has been shortened to 24" as shown in photos with the ruler."

In my case, when listing men's suits, I just show the measurements with the ruler and don't mention alterations.
The only time I will mention something being altered is if it was an item that usually comes in a standard size and has visible alterations done (ie, on a women's suit that's a "standard" size 16 but the pants legs have been very visibly shortened).
