How to contact someone at Ebay about reinstating a seller account

Several years ago my son used my account to try to sell a couple of items (Xbox related). He got about 5 negative ratings in a row.

My seller account has been in limbo ("Limited?) and I'd like to get it reinstated.

I had an excellent rating as a Buyer (still do) and a Seller for many, many years.

Any help would be appreciated.

It is too late now but under no circumstance should you give your account to someone to sell on it. It is not their account, they don't care what happens to it. Friends and family have no clue about how selling works on eBay.

When any of them start making suggestions I sell something for them, I shut it down quickly and tell them to create their own accounts. When I explain the "dos and don't" of selling on eBay, they quickly lose interest in selling on eBay. Selling on eBay is not easy.

Why don't you just use this account? I don't see any negatives or other issues.

Why don't you just use this account? I don't see any negatives or other issues.

I was able to see them, I had to switch Most Recent for them to be visible, in the Received as Seller section.

If someone has an account that has been suspended, I don't believe they are allowed to open another account. If this "shophawk" is just a buying account, the OP would have to set it up for selling, i.e. giving banking info, SS number, etc. and if eBay has info on file that shows OP has another account that has been suspended (if it has), they would not allow him to use this one for selling.

@shophawk needs to contact eBay on Social Media to find out exactly where he stands.

There is a difference between your seller account being limited and suspended. At this very moment can you sell items but are limited to that? If so Ebay as placed a limit on your account. If you are suspended from selling anything on Ebay you are not limited you were banned from selling on Ebay and will need to contact Ebay directly about this suspension. Do not be surprised to hear your suspension is permanent which then you will need to find another platform to sell on.

Were the negatives for item not received? If so, that would be a permanent suspension, dont think theres any coming back from that, sorry. Buyer ratings dont count.
