·4 months agoSadly, the only recourse we have is using the "?" button on the bottom right of the home page to send negative feedback. Beyond that, change your local shortcut to "https://www.ebay.com/sl/sell" or "https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/summary" so you don't have to look at the garbage on ebay.com.

·4 months agoI haven’t set up my homepage in the app, but on Windows 11 with Edge, I’ve configured my home and startup pages to the eBay Community and eBay Sellers Hub, so I never see the eBay default homepage.

·4 months agoWell these ads come and go. My solution is to avoid my home page (I don't really like the saved page workaround) and just look for other venues to buy what I am looking for.
It seems to come and go. When it's on my homepage I hit "Back" and look elsewhere. I check back every few days and start looking on eBay again when "the coast is clear".
The items I buy are available elsewhere just for better prices on eBay. I'd rather pay a little more than be assaulted by those "snakeoily" ads every time I log in............................

·4 months agoYeah look at this fing guy. In the past alot folks referred to eBay as a giant online garage sale. Now they'll refer to it as a cheap online casino.

·4 months ago@fiftee5chevee Welcome to 2026 on ebay! As I've been saying all year, eBay has gone all in on Livestreaming, and it will be difficult to avoid being hit over the head with promos for it all year long (and possibly longer if ebay makes a lot of money from Lives). When it comes to the ebay Homepage, I use my "saved" page instead. Just go to the top of the ebay Homepage and click "saved"---this will show you recent searches, sellers, etc that you have saved because you are actually interested in them....

I can't tell you the emails I get now for live auctions on my iPhone and in my inbox of general emails...the texts I get for live auctions ....it's a lot...kind of being a little pushy in my opinion.
Sounds like it's not going too good...I mean...we only need to be reminded one time...not 50 times a day...can't make this up...😆

·4 months agoYes, I got on the eBay site today and THERE IT WAS!...That terrible Coin-Bit Casino string of Ads is back!---and right on the front page, again.
And I think it turns off any potential Buyers to our site!... JMHO

·4 months agoUnfortunately I have called ebay customer service with the same request. No option of removing it from the app. I would certainly like to have the option of deleting or muting or opting out of that particular part of the ebay app.
I was also told by the ebay customer service agent that it was "quite well received and doing great for ebay". I'm wondering if that is the reason I have had zero sales 3 of the past 5 days. Ebay directing it's efforts towards live instead of regular and consistent sellers.
