All my listing state from top to bottom that no international buyers allowed, no forwarding addresses, no gift addresses. Even the short description right below the title states this. I am unable to sell items due to constant purchases by international buyers. I have to research the buyer's profile to see ifs it registered in another country, but just because it says their registered location is the U.S. does it mean that is true so I need to investigate further. Sometime there are international transaction, but the lack of such fees does not mean its actually a U.S. buyer. That leaves researching the buyer's address on Google, Google Maps and Google Maps Street View to see if its a freight forwarder. For example; the buyer's contact number was for a Korean buying agent with a website in Korean. Their profile page said they were located in the U.S., but that is not true. They were simply renting a tiny empty closet size suite on the East Coast so they could use the address of that suite to register as if they were located in the U.S. The shipping address came up as a Korean freight forwarding located on the West Coast. They were located in the same giant warehousing complex as DHS. The actual end user was some unknown person in South Korea for whom I was given no contact information. After I wasted time completing this research, cancelling the order, typing up funds for the refund, blocking the buyers and relisting the item the item is once again purchased by another international buyer. After items are purchased, canceled and relisted due to international buyers other buyers send questions asking about what is wrong with the item, thus reducing it value. Auctions are also out as international buyers bid on those. eBay's response is to tell me to sell it to the second highest bidder. What a completely dishonest suggestion. The second highest bidder would never had paid what they bid if it has not been for international buyer shilling up the price. There is no way of knowing for sure if the second highest bidder is actually from the U.S., without seeing their actual shipping address since the profile page can't be used to determine this. The profile page can only be used to more quickly eliminate buyers if its states another country - thus saving you researching the address.
