How do I stop the unsold listings being shown in my messages?
This just seems to have started recently... I don't need my unsold listings showing up in my messages - which I then have to delete. Any suggestions on how to stop this? TIA

·11 months agoI absolutely agree that these unsold messages encouraging you to relist auctions are nonsense. I can go to my unsold items and relist all at once, whereas these messages have you relist one at a time, which is very inefficient. Deleting all these messages is also very inefficient. I hope eBay stops sending them.

·11 months agoWow, over 10,000 items sold, been on here 26 years! Gotta love that you KNOW what you are doing and why. Mad respect for you!

Uncheck the messages you don't want.
I agree with @tobaccocardyahoo you would probably make more sales if you switched to Fixed Price format.

·11 months agoI went to the Communications preferences link and under Seller > Seller Activity I do NOT have Item did not sell checked. However I am getting all these unwanted unsold item messages for auctions, which obviously I should NOT be getting if eBay was paying attention to my Communication preferences.

OP11 months agoTHANK YOU - THINK this will do it -- I have switched some items to the fixed price format. Will see how they do.

·11 months agoJust change your ads from auction to fix listings with best offer. Problem solved. Buyers want items now and will make an offer if they choose to.

·11 months agoIf you use Buy It Now, you will not have unsold listings for you to relist, and will not get those annoying messages.
Way too much work to have most of your sold items sell on 1 bid. Looks like some of your 2 bid auctions might also be only 1 bidder.
Rethink your strategy, and the amount of time you are spending on your Ebay listings.
It has gotten uncommon to have a real auction with multiple bidders and a surprising price on Ebay.

·11 months agoWhat do you mean by unsold listings? You mean listings that have ended or you ended showing up in messages?

OP11 months agoIt is the items that didn't sell - I usually relist but now I get a "note" in my messages on each one to relist. I really don't need that reminder...
