How do I send offers for items for sale?
I have multiple items for sale. In the dropdown box some listings allow me to "send offers" to watchers and other items do not. Why is that?

OP2 years agoOk. I will check again in a few days. But all 17 watchers on a single item are not eligible? And all 10 on another item are not eligible? Is that they way it normally goes?

OP2 years agoIn what way would either of those conditions prevent me from sending a watcher an offer? You are only stating why a watcher may exist.

·2 years agoEbay has their criteria they use to determine when users are eligible to receive offers on items.
There's nothing you as a seller can do to affect that so it's an exercise in futility to dwell on that.
When they're eligible ebay will show that in seller hub.
Check again in a couple days.

OP2 years agoThe items have watchers, otherwise I would not have anyone to send an offer to....which is why I was asking. One Item listed has 17 watchers. Another has 10. What is the likelihood that all of them have opted out and all do not qualify? I didn't send them any prior offers.

·2 years agoSome watchers are not interested in buying the items.
Some could be other sellers watching items to see if they sell and for how much so they know how to price their items.

·2 years agoPossible answers to the "other items".
There are no watchers.
There are watchers but they have chosen not to receive offers.
There are timing requirements to be eligible for offers, maybe they don't qualify.
Perhaps you have recently sent offers on these items.
Other reasons that don't come to mind for me at the moment.
