I HAVE been getting phone calls and texts from a buyer and I need to know how to block all buyers from seeing my phone number.
If this is a would be/wanna be buyer who has not made a purchase yet, cancel any bids on your active auctions. Block them on your phone and add them to your Blocked Bidder List within eBay.
If this is a buyer that has made a purchase, then play nice, until the sale ages into archived status. Playing nice may lessen your chances of a negative feedback or return case.
Your current chatty buyer will lose interest at some point. I haven't gotten a phone call from a buyer in 10 years. You should consider your buyer a once in a decade anomoly.
@twosometreasures if you are signed up as a Business it may be required. Check your 'account setting' (top left, drop down under your name) and see 'public business info'.
If not, you are on Facebook and Instagram, showing out of Bellflower Illinois so it would probably not be hard to 'find' you.

If you had to confirm/input information to comply with the INFORM Consumers Act, then buyers would get your name and location. From there it would take less than 30 seconds to find your current phone number, email address, physical address, and every number, email, address you've had going back decades.
If the buyer is harassing you, you need to report them to eBay and to their local hometown police department for making harassing phone calls.
Like @inhawaii , I keep hoping for a phone call as well. To clarify though, I'm hoping it is lonely, fit college-aged girl that calls. 😁😅

·4 months agoEbay Settings -> Shipping Preferences -> "Request buyer phone number"
If it's set to OFF, you won't get the buyer's phone number, nor will they get yours.

I went through my last 20+ purchases and it does not show a seller phone number.
Some of them don't even show a seller name and address.
