I want to take down my store for a month. Closed.
Then, when I get back I want to be able to put it back up again, whole ... just the way it went down.
How do I do that?

·2 years agoMake sure you do not have your products showing but unavailable.
This is an option that not every seller notices, and leads to unhappy customers when they find The Thing and cannot buy it.

·2 years agoAs noted above, the easiest way is to put the store on vacation mode for up to 30 days. You can also, if going away for more than 30 days, just end all listings and they will be available on your unsold list for 90 days and can be easily relisted. I usually just end all listings as I like to end all listings about 10 days before I leave to avoid any hassles while away as I am often a bit off the grid when on vacation.

·2 years agoAnother way if you will be away for more than 30 days is to turn on the Out Of Stock option and bulk change the quantity available to zero.
The listing will remain active but invisible and can't be purchased. eBay will let them sit for up to 6 months, then they will end them and they will be available for another 90 days.
The only catch with that is if you have multi-quantity listings, it is a bit of work to reactivate them with the correct quantities. If you don't have multi-quantity listings then it's simple.
For period up to 30 days the Time Away option is far and away the easiest, make sure to tick the option to hide the listings rather than leaving them available for sale. You can also add an auto-responder to reply to any messages while you are away.
