That was my system too. - Alpha-numerical order and then compare the pictures.
Interestingly, when I do this I often find a dozen duplicates (out of perhaps 1500 listings) which is annoying but not seriously concerning.
But I also find listings that seem "familiar". I put those into Unsolds until I have time to investigae and find that about half of those sold previously, which is VERY concerning.
EBay has had these "ghost" listings for years and either cannot or will not do anything about it, even refusing to admit that it happens.
I think there are some programs people will mention..........but before all that, I used to alphabetize the title in seller hub and just skim down it......
