How can I leave negative feedback on a non-paying buyer??
Had a buyer purchase an item, but they never paid, and never responded to my contacts. I will block this buyer, but how do I leave negative feedback. Ebay claims a purchase is a contract. But there does not appear to be any consequences for non-payment. Thanks.

·2 years agoIt is true that there really is not much more you can do except to block the buyer as you already have. (This transaction) However you may want to consider Immediate Payments to prevent this from happening. (Auctions do have some limitations.)
Here is a link explaining immediate payments and you may want to consider modifying how you list (auctions, listings) to ensure your listings have immediate payments.

·2 years agoYou can't... it would do no good, anyway. Just cancel the order due to non-payment and that buyer account will get a strike.
It's sad, though. It holds up the transaction for DAYS.

·2 years agoYou can avoid this situation by not selling with the auction format. If you list with the buy it now option and require immediate payment this issue is nonexistent. It may take a minute or two to research pricing but it's worth it.

·2 years agoSellers have been unable to leave negative or neutral ratings for buyers since May 20, 2008. How fortunate you are to have never had occasion to notice this before now.
The only consequence for nonpaying buyers is that they get a nonpayment strike if the seller cancels the transaction based on "Buyer hasn't paid." Sellers can use their site preferences to automatically block bidders/buyers based on their strike history, with the strictest option being 2 strikes in the past 12 months.

You can't...it will be removed and it's a policy violation to leave a negative positive. Just block this person and move on.

Only Positive or nothing.
Since it was NOT purchased because there was no payment, you cannot leave any FB.
eBay doesnt clam a "purchase" is a contract.
After 4 days (96 hours) cancel for non-payment.
Relist the item and add the buyer to the BBL.

·2 years agoSellers can leave feedback for any transaction, whether the buyer has paid or not.
However, sellers are prohibited from leaving feedback comments that are negative in nature.
