Here's a new one...to me anyway
Buyer opened an INR case.
Item was returned to me.
I handle these differently on a case by case basis.
Tried as nicely as I could and offered to re-list the item, for shipping cost only, UPS or FedEx instead of USPS.
Buyer got snotty.
So, in this case, I decided to show them "how this works"....and asked eBay to step in and help.
eBay sends me this message:
"Good News! You were not found at fault.
We received tracking information from you that shows the item was in transit or delivered to the buyer's address. However, the date scan is after your stated shipping and handling time. In the future, please ship your items as soon as possible. You don't need to do anything else."
New to me? Item listed with two day handling time.
It was purchased on a Saturday (20th), shipped AND carrier scanned on the following Monday (22nd).
I do show a single late shipment in my service metrics.
Wonder if that's it??
Toopid eBay.........

·10 months ago🤔That's weird, since Sunday's are not a shipping day, which means it wouldn't count. The explanation may be a canned response, which was the closest selection for CS (or AI) to chose from.
