Actually, it's not. Amazon is better in this 1 major thing:
'Restocking Fee' and it can be charged UP TO 100% (for Seller Fulfilled).
You have to take pictures of the package with label, package open and items.
I once got a $200 return of 3 items that were NOT mine, some yahoos 'attempt' at making the stuff I make. 100% restock. They got $0.
I did the Charlie Brown/Snoopy dance.

·1 month agoI've always said if a similar site came along with slightly lower fees, better seller protections, better search and 100% US based customer service eBay would be irrelevant within 5 years. But it would take a massive amount of cash.
For example: a flat 10% selling fee. A search algorithm that doesn't let sellers spam keywords so when you search for a size 12 boot you don't get a headlight for a 55 Chevy and 4 listings for Christmas lights.
For those not accepting returns, the buyer only gets 5 days after delivery to start a claim and 5 days to send it back. None of this wait until day 20 to send it back.
An actual claims center for sellers so when a buyer ships back a different item or one in pieces, you don't need to spend 3-4 hours on the phone with reps who barely speak English.

·1 month agoYour heading says "Here we go again?" with a question mark. That is like something happened, but you aren't sure what, or something happened that you have experienced before and you are having to go through it again, maybe.

Sorry, I don’t feel that way. As a matter fact I think eBay is the best thing since the invention of sliced bread.
I sell things every single day and get money deposited into my checking account every single business day. What’s there not to like about that?
There are scamming customers everywhere whether you sell online not just on eBay, have a store, or set up shows and flea markets.

·1 month ago · EditedWhat are you personally going to do about it? Is there any action you are going to take so you don't feel this way? Just so you know you can complain about it all you want nothing will change your prospective on this.
