Hate hate the new designed FEEDBACK
It makes me NOT want to give feedback, and I think I'll bypass it.
The old way of giving feedback was much more adaptable and fair IMO. This new way, where you (seller) has only two choices: Positive and Report Buyer.
What happened to NEUTRAL?
How about using a STAR system instead of positive and Report Buyer?
5 stars means the buyer paid and was a pleasant customer.
1 star means the buyer was a problem.
AMZ has a star system and I don't know why EB can't do the same.

·1 year agoThis isn't a "new" way! Sellers haven't been able to leave anything but positive feedback for buyers for over 17 years (since May, 2008).

·1 year agoJust go to chat gpt, detail what the buyer did, then ask for a appropriate FB within ebay rules. This FB that was written by AI will then get a professional courtesy pass from ebay AI.

·2 years agoThe whole point of the feedback to a buyer is that Ebay won't allow ANY negative or neutral feedback to a buyer. On the other hand, they encourage negative or neutral feedback to sellers, and will do nothing, even if the feedback is clearly extortionary lying (I know, I have such feedback currently. My first negative in 22 years of selling high value antiques and collectibles.)

·2 years agoI am a seller, but I'm also a buyer. It takes FOREVERRRRRRR to leave a lot of feedback at once! And it doesn't tell you when you purchased the item and when it was delivered like before. No more "did this item arrive on time?" with the date beside of when it was delivered. I don't want to go to each item and check. Ugh. The new redesign sucks!

I think those writing the software are at best casual sellers on eBay or likely don't sell at all.

It was already hard to get a buyer to leave feedback. This new version is just going to make even harder.

Does Target or Walmart have a 'star' system?
Do they put a picture of nasty customers in the window and ban them?
