Has anyone had luck in getting feedback removed this year?
Summary: La discusión inició con quadcitypickers preguntando si alguien había logrado eliminar comentarios este año. Sin embargo, las respuestas de tobaccocardyahoo, ccomic, adamcartwright y chapeau-noir no incluyeron contenido adicional o información relevante, por lo que no se proporciona ninguna solución o discusión concreta sobre el tema planteado.
Had a buyer use feedback extortion, as clearly as they could. They wanted it shipped the "next day" or would be leaving negative feedback.
Filed a removal request, denied "because I had not shipped it yet".
Contacted eBay on Instagram, they said it would not qualify as extortion "because they have to demand something not offered in the listing".
I said my handling time in the listing was 3 days, in the description too, they are demanding next day shipping under the threat of negative feedback.
They said "shipping is not part of a good or service". I got an email an hour later that the negative comment was removed but not the rating.
They ALSO let slip "eBay (referring to people at corporate) has become extremely strict on removals".
Tried contacting help through the phone, only option is email.
This is the 2nd time in a month they have played word games to not remove feedback that clearly qualifies.
The other was a car radio I sold that the buyer claimed didn't work. eBay is supposed to remove negative feedback when a buyer closes a return and does not ship the item back.
They refused to remove it "because they didn't mention closing it in the feedback itself". What?

·4 months agoUgh - I'll remember this. I'd rather have the verbiage with the red donut so I can give a professional response to an actual issue than this kind of vague business - it doesn't even make sense to me to remove the remark and leave the donut.

I'm really surprised they told you shipping/handling time is not part of the listing.
Based on the comments here recently, I'm starting to wonder about these Instagram CSAs.

OP4 months agoThey were originally reached on Facebook but eBay got rid of them, then moved them to Instagram with longer times to receive replies. They have became incredibly snarky, saying things like "do not expect instant replies" despite it being an instant message service. They can take 3-4 hours to get back to you.

OP4 months agoYes, didn't use to with the power seller program but eBay got rid of that too.
ccomic
·4 months agoYeah. It's better if the buyer has to wait for either the estimated delivery date or actual delivery.

·4 months agoI had a neutral removed yesterday. EIS sale. Comment and rating removed, but there was latency on the rating.
Overall, it qualified as lightning fast.
