Has anyone else noticed Ebay is charging extra for shipping ?

I just noticed this week that ebay is charging more for shipping than USPS actually charges. Was hoping it was just a glitch but when i go to stamps.com the ebay is over $2 or more for the same address.

·1 week agoNot really what is happening. eBay ISN'T charging above the standard USPS Prices...it is typically because the other Online Shipper is giving a better discount than eBay. It's called competition.

·1 week agoI sure have! I have been selling for last couple yrs and as of late I am like I sold something for 55 bucks and by the time I have any profit I make $33 dollars! The items sold are well worth over the asking price even I’m begining to wonder what’s going on with the shipping and the fees! Bout to go else wear feeling ripped off anymore.

·1 week agoI suppose that it is possible. This has been a complaint about PirateShip - that they overcharge and pocket the difference. You know, they do need to make money to cover their "free" service. Maybe eBay thought that was a good way to bump up profits.

·1 week agoIf you want to see what USPS charges, you need to go to the USPS web site and check, not stamps.com.

·1 week agoSince I have the buyer pay full shipping, as long as his payment covers the full shipping, I'm fine with that. Having a buyer pay full price also helps if I have to do something extra on the package and the shipping goes up.. that discount will cover it.

·1 week ago · EditedI am charged the same online USPS discount rates as anywhere else, including with UPS and Fedex too. If you have some kind of inside hook-up, then yeah, go with that. I've tried Stamps.com and didn't notice a special hook-up.
If you are referring to the early pass on rural rates, that might be it, but won't be for long... let us know!
