Drop your Store subscription.
You would have 250 FREE listings without the subscription and you have fewer listings than that at the moment.
I have seen a calculation that you would have to have more than 300 listings to make the Basic Store worthwhile.
well in fact they charges more fees everythime you sell
Yes you are charged fees on your buyer's entire payment.
Including selling price, sales taxes (which they pay not you), and shipping price (which mostly goes to the shipper).
and here goes this stupid automated service who does not let you talk to anybody
You don't want to talk to anyone who answers the phone.
They are subcontractors in Utah or the Philippines, who have no authority.
You want to use the actual employees assigned to social media.
The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/How-do-I-contact-Customer-Support/m-p/32016431#M1783851 -> Automated Assistant, type AGENT -> enter. You will then get more options.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

Sounds like you have a store subscription... find out when you can cancel it and cancel it. It's not dues or harassment. It's a business. How do you feel Ebay is harassing you?

OP1 year agoHarassing me for my listing which is there for how many years

·1 year agoYou have a different way of defining "harassing" than most. Ebay owns the site and Ebay sets the rules. When one of us is breaking a rule they set forth, they notify us. That is not harassment.
Now if you continue to do what they have told you is not right, then eventually you will just lose your selling privileges all together.
Most here would be happy to try and assist you, but YOU have to provide more detailed information as I suggested in my earlier post.

So if you want help, give us the info so we can help. If you are fine going this alone, then there really isn't much we can do to help. It is up to you.

·1 year ago@angelheart1435 : Which listing? You have 243 of them. Give us the number so that we can take a look.
As for the emails from Ebay - you have been asked to go back and look at the body of the message(s) where the violation(s) would be explained. If it is not clear to you what the problem(s) might be then please post the body of the emails here as requested. Snip out any personally identifying details.

I have no idea what you're talking about. What listing? How do you feel you are being harassed?
You can't just throw wild accusations out there and expect others to understand what is in your brain, but not coming out of your fingers

Holy cow, how many years? If it's been listed for many years and it hasn't sold then you are asking way too much. Like that service and repair shop manual you have listed for $410 that can be downloaded for free.

·1 year agoHas eBay been removing that listing and then you are relisting it?
Old listings without a sale in years may be removed by eBay as stale. I would not relist it again, at least not without a complete overhaul of the price, title , pictures and description. A new listing in essence. The data may not change but updating it may refresh the listing and bump it to a better position in Search placement. Old stale listings fall to the bottom of Best Match.
That said, use your best judgement—know that relisting a pulled item can be risky and put your selling privileges in danger.

·1 year agoThe OP only wants to vent. They don't want to give any details so we can try to figure out what is actually going on. I've asked two or three times as have others. The OP does not seem to be the least interested in potentially fixing or at the very least understanding what happened. Their mind is made up and that appears to be how they want to leave it.

·1 year agoGood morning Angelheart,
Take a deep breath in and count to 10.
It appears you are concerned about a few things, 1) fees 2) contacting c/s and reaching automated voice service & 3) allegedly contacting an individual outside of eBay which violates a policy.
As you're a seasoned seller, it's ok to vent......today is a new day, and hopefully a great one for you ☀ï¸

·1 year agoTo the best of my knowledge, unless you have a store, you only pay fees when you make a sale.
And, yes, you pay a final value fee every time you sell.

·1 year agoHi @angelheart1435 sorry for your trouble.
I looked at your listings. In your descriptions you have a disclaimer that states you will not ship internationally, but your listing is set up without any country shipping exclusions. As a result, your shipping tab shows that you ship to many countries. Without your excluding international regions in your shipping preferences, you cannot enforce a No International sales statement in your description field.
By any chance have you been attempting to cancel any sales from overseas buyers? Or have you been contacted by a buyer and then shortly thereafter , you ended a listing? Both those actions could get you into trouble with the platform if they think you are trying to sell outside of eBay. Proceed cautiously, because one can lose their selling privileges over that issue.
Below is a link on how to set up your country shipping exclusions. Good luck.

If you really want some help and a better understanding of what is going on, we can help you with that. But you will need to give us more information.
When Ebay emails you telling you one or more of your listing violates a policy, that email does tell you what the problem is. You may not agree with them, but it is there. Would you please share the body of the emails you have gotten from Ebay. Please black out any personal information.
We can help you if you work with us.
Regarding selling fees. Yes, there are fees every time you or any of us sell something on the site.
As for contacting Ebay. I can give you other ways to contact Ebay that may work better for you. But actually until you actually understand what is happening, it is likely best not to contact them. Let us work with you to give you more knowledge to work with. I think it will do far more for you.
I hope you will allow us to help you.

"eBay" does not read this board, and "eBay" will not stop enforcing their policies simply because you do not like it.

Good point.
Actually putting that on your listing is almost inviting a buyer to attempt to mess with you.
I have a few items I sell with no returns offered, but I also clarify what that means in my Return Policy details. Which includes detailing that an item that doesn't match the description or photos can be returned, but the item will have to be returned for the refund. An example can be found on a few of my listings.
glorybells
·1 year agoAre you aware that your “all sales are final†means nothing on eBay? If a buyer opens an item not as described case, you will be refunding, no matter what your listing says.

NOBODY can offer any decent help unless we know what kind of harassment you are talking about.....
albertabrightalberta
·1 year agoCan you give us an example of the type of messages you're sending to buyers that ebay believes would imply that you want to take sales off-site?
Are you asking for or responding to request for texts? Are you sending Paypal information?
Sorry, eBay isn't here and won't read nor reply to your post because this is a discussion board for eBay buyers and sellers.
So what ever it is you're doing that eBay doesn't like and has to send you messages, then stop doing it. Then the "harassing" messages will stop.
I've been a seller since 2004 I've never been "harassed" by eBay.

·1 year agoThe only harassment I've received from eBay is about getting a discount when you order in their fabulous app.
I have never seen that.
What I do get are message "a $50 credit statement can be yours" if I apply for an eBay branded Mastercard.
I don't even bother reading those I just delete it.

OP1 year agoI pay every month for the dues they are charging me like more $29 even if i dont sell anything.I did not even touch my listing for years and i did not list anything for a very long time
You pay a monthly subscription for the store you have. You pay for that whether or not you get sales.
luckythewinner
·1 year agoeBay only charges a monthly store subscription when you voluntarily choose to pay a monthly store subscription.
If you say you don't sell anything and you say you have not listed anything for a very long time, why are you voluntarily choosing paying for a monthly store subscription?
That aside ... a quick search of your sold items shows you sold a $700 item two weeks ago.
mam98031
·1 year agoThat is a Fee to have a Basic Store on a yearly subscription not "dues". You don't need a Basic Store unless you are running 300+ listings every month. You might look at your history and decide that you may not need the store or the benefits of a store.
When did you sign up for the Store?

·1 year agoMy dues are $22.95 a month and I have a lot of listings...why are you paying more than I?
Perhaps the rider seat sold and listed as 'new' and then was recently re-listed as 'used' might be the problem.
