Happy New Year and Happy Item Not Received Claims!
My goodness, it has been a rough 2025 already and we are only 9 days in. Just yesterday I had 5 INR claims opened. 3 of them show either delivered or delivery attempts with insufficient addresses. The other 2 were for Puerto Rico and the Samoa region. Those 2 are delayed but the Puerto Rico one showed a scan last night. My anxiety is through the roof. I've gone a long time without this type of thing happening all at once. And I live in the St. Louis area and were hit by Winter Storm Blair and my post office has been closed all week. So we've been driving our stuff to other Post Office's but the items are just sitting there and nothing is being scanned in at the hub. So I'm guessing come next week I'm going to have countless more of these claims opened. On top of that I had a customer open 2 back to back chargebacks saying they didn't recognize the transaction. I am not being protected by eBay because the address provided were both insufficient and the items show no movement now. So eBay says that I either have to accept it and refund or challenge them both and provide evidence that won't matter if their bank finds it in their favor. I'm shocked eBay isn't protecting me with those as the reason for them being opened was "didn't recognize the transaction". Anyone else experiencing anything like this? I'm getting 2020 anxiety over here.

·1 year agoI've had one INR filed that I'm currently working with my buyer on.
I have a personal package that seems to be taking a very slow route for delivery via Fedex.
I am really sorry you are seeing so many claims. At least you have 3 that will be in your favor. Sounds like you have just 1 that isn't showing any current scans.
As to your current shipments, did you read the Announcement Ebay sent out regarding the Storm that is currently affecting you?

How does the same customer file 2 Chargebacks? Was it on one transaction or two? Since the reason was they didn't recognize the charges, didn't Ebay send you an email that told you they would take care of it and you didn't need to do anything??? Don't get so deep into anxiety that you don't recognize that things are NOT as bad as you seem to be making the out to be. Ebay takes care of these types of Chargebacks and you should not be losing any money because of it.
Oh wait. You first said the Chargebacks were because they didn't recognize the transactions. But your next statement says "I am not being protected by eBay because the address provided were both insufficient and the items show no movement now." The tracking of the package[s] shouldn't have a thing to do with a Chargeback filed for the reason they don't recognize the charge. So this doesn't make sense.
"So eBay says that I either have to accept it and refund or challenge them both and provide evidence that won't matter if their bank finds it in their favor." This simply doesn't make sense. IDK if it is because you are so upset and you are just mixing up your different situations or what, but this makes no sense.
Post the body of the emails that Ebay has sent you on these chargebacks please. Black out any personal information.
