it's always a good idea to ship the same day and Saturdays if you can
nobody want's to wait for there "goods" lol
if you ever go search your own listings and wonder why they are not at the top...
handling time plays a part in that, among other things
I always under promise and over deliver. Meaning I ship as quickly as I can. Often the same day but at least the next business day. I do ship on Saturdays too. But I change my handling time back and forth between 1 and 2 days every month. I bulk edit them in order to get all my listings to reindex in the system. I don't close listings and then repost them like some sellers do. That makes you lose your standing in Google and other search engines. And since they are responsible for about half of our traffic, disrupting them isn't a good idea to me.
@mam98031 no, just a regular listing (see below) for some small battery's, most of the time the things I am looking to purchase here and there are the same way, virtually none will have a stated handling time
Thank you. I will look into this a bit closer and ask some questions of others with better brains. I will let you know what I find out, but it may take until early next week.
@mam98031 this is not a new issue, it has been like that for quite some time, it is annoying when needing something sooner rather than later and searching for a seller that will get it out the door asap (like myself) messaging sellers doesn't usually help either as some either never respond or may not respond in a timely manner.
you know when you need something, yesterday and your trying for the quickest method....
when the seller doesn't respond until 2 days later that's too late..... your forced to hope for the best and just make a choice and whataya know, 3 days later,no tracking %&*^&*%^$%^#
If they click on "see details" in the shipping info section, the pop-up usually shows the handling time (2 days according to your listing that I looked at).

·10 months agoBe aware handling times...if it is Friday night...2 business days to ship...means you need to ship it Tuesday.
I love holidays, Saturdays and Sundays because they are not business days.😎
mam98031
·10 months agoThat is if the seller has their site preferences set up to see Saturday and Sunday as non business days. The option is at the bottom of the page.

·10 months agoweird, I have not seen a handling time on almost any listings in a good while, i guess it depends on the listing or listing type maybe?
mine says:
Will usually ship within same business day. Expected ship time may vary and is based on seller's order cut-off time.

You may not have looked by clicking on the See Details that are beside your ETA for deliver or the See Details beside your Return Policy.
This pic is from one of your listings.

My experience, as well.
Some listings do not have a "Handling time" section under "See Details."

Are they Auctions? If not, can you provide an example please.

·10 months ago@mam98031
No, I can't right now. Don't remember which seller's listings I was viewing at the time I posted.
But they were BINs, not auctions.

Is it an Auction?? As I stated earlier, and I don't know why this happens, but on Auctions you can't see handling times.

See the following pics. Click on the See Details just to the right of what your shipping charges are, then the following pic pops up.

OP10 months agoI see that.
Just wondering why some listings don't show that.
Let me find one...
mam98031
·10 months agoAre they auctions? I've never understood this, but on auctions I have looked at the handling time isn't stated like they are on GTC listings.

·10 months agoeBay used to show it but removed it from listings. You just have to " worm " it out from the delivery date .

·10 months ago@inhawaii
No, you're not losing your mind and don't let anyone make you think you are. 🤣
I posted about this exact issue earlier this year, when I noticed that one seller's handling times were not show in the listing.
We all know how to find the info in "Shipping >See Details," but sometimes it's just not there.

·10 months agoI've seen some that don't show a handling time, so I don't know.
