Go to ORDERS (click on CANCELLATION). This will cancel order and automatically refund the customer. Your selling fees will automatically be refunded also.
I apologized to the customer for not seeing the order. I posted the item in January and didn’t see the sale until the customer asked to cancel order but eBay didn’t let them bec it’s past the shipping deadline. I emailed the customer and asked to see if they still want to cancel and no response yet. I want to refund her but I don’t know how.
A Cancellation of an order can be requested by the buyer, but the Seller is the only one that can actually process the Cancellation. In this case it appears you are well past the 30 day window in which you are allowed to do this. So a Cancellation is not in the cards for you anymore.
So go to your All Orders screen, find the sale for this item. Click on the three vertical dots so you get the drop down menu. Towards the bottom of that should be the option to process a REFUND. Click on that and follow the instructions on your screen.
Let us know if this works for you or if you need more help.
Then your item is just too old, you waited far too long. I'm surprised your buyer didn't file a claim to get their money back a long time ago. Or did the buyer actually pay? You will need to contact Ebay to get some help.
At the top and bottom of every page in Ebay are links to contact Customer Service.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.
Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT or ask an Agent to call you, in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.
From this link you can request Ebay to call you in the USA. The option is available when Staff is available to respond, so NOT 24/7/365. https://www.ebay.com/help/home
